L'OCCITANE 30 years of true legend of the L'Occitane brand

1976: When the first drop of essential oil distilled from the distillation machine, it was the first time in my life that I really had a good time.

This love passed through my hometown of Provence. From east to west, I pursued the rarest and most precious gift that nature had given us.

1977: The first lavender field harvest reserved exclusively for L'OCCITANE L'Occitane.

1980: Shea fruit found in Africa.

1976: The first soap factory in Mane.

I still do not forget the first machine at the beginning of the business, that was Volx's first factory. I still have an office in that factory, which is a beautiful place in the heart of the Provence alpine highlands.

At the age of 23, I bought an old distillation machine to extract the essential oils of rosemary. Then I took the refined oil that I extracted to sell in the open market of Provence. In this way, L'OCCITANE L'Occitane was born.

1981: The first factory in Volx.

1980: L'OCCITANE's first store in Volx.

The arrival of L'OCCITANE's branch is like entering a corner of Provence. It is surrounded by her feelings. Her color and her warmth bring a rich and vivid sensory experience. L'OCCITANE still continues the role of perfumer.

1990: L'OCCITANE L'Occitane's canal boat was first brought to Paris with Lavender Festival products.

2006: Today's branch.

1996: Opening the first American store on Madison Avenue in New York.

1995: Opening up the Asian market and opening branches in Hong Kong.

1997: L'OCCITANE L'Occitane opens a branch in London.

2005: Opening of the sixth hundred stores in Ekaterinburg, Russia.
